Various material from which it is possible to construct a working and lit Twist with fold up arms.  Consisting of copies of the PWS and Butlin patents, Owen Ralph’s history of the ride, Bernard Whittaker’s drawings and photos of Cubbins Twist all of which are reproduced by permission.  In addition there are my own 1/16th scale drawings for the centre mechanism, arms, slip rings and pick ups which I used to build the centre for Mike Brooke’s model – and are thus fully proved.  The platform, railings and arm profiles are not detailed as these will vary according to the Twist being modelled.
