The long wheelbase version of the Pioneer originally supplied to the Army during the Second World War. Modelled in this version with the heavy recovery crane. The body, chassis and details are all finely cast in white metal. The cab and recovery body are etched in thin brass to give realistic window and panel thicknesses. Soft rubber tyres of the correct pattern are supplied for added realism and ease of painting the wheels.
