Galloper

The truly classic British fairground ride dating from Victorian times. Known to the Americans as a Carousel. The model features 36 horses arranged in three rows and the mechanism makes the horses ‘gallop’ as on the full size ride. A geared drive provides the up and down motion of the horses as well as rotation of the ride.

In 1/24th scale the model is 530mm (21”) in diameter; in 1/16th scale it is 830mm (32½”) in diameter and in 1/12th scale it is 1.1m (42”) in diameter.

For 1/16th scale I supply one additional drawing to complement the 1/24th scale design which the customer scales up to suit.

For 1/12th scale I supply two additional drawings to complement the 1/24th scale design which the customer scales up to suit.
